I studied Creative and Professional writing at the University of Glamorgan where I enjoyed writing fiction and non-fiction, writing for children and poetry. After graduating in 2010 I qualified as a teacher and went to Saudi Arabia where I taught English to a class of 20 – 25 students in the preparatory year programme. I was in Riyadh for a year before returning back to Cardiff and joining WE Bridge. I worked in Cardiff for a year and decided to go to Tripoli, Libya to teach English. I taught young adults in the morning and began teaching IELTS classes in the afternoons which I found challenging but enjoyable. I returned once again to Cardiff and to WE Bridge in 2013. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience teaching students from all backgrounds, walks of life and of all ages. I have most experience with Arabic learners and enjoy teaching IELTS classes. In my free time I enjoy travelling, reading, writing, eating pizza, going to the gym and watching films.
